prize-winning fishcakes: mustardy mackerel fishcakes

foodfullstop, a website through which you can source fresh and great quality food, has chosen my mustardy mackerel fishcakes as one of the winners in their recent recipe competition.
these fishcakes consistently get good feedback so if you haven't tried them already, now's the perfect time. and if you sign up to the foodfullstop newsletter you'll get a copy of the recipe in your inbox at some point soon, no doubt complete with their suggestions for sourcing good smoked mackerel.
as for me, i'm waiting for my prize of six fabulous new cookery books! i wonder what they'll be...

eat the right stuff featured on uktv food
eat the right stuff has recently been featured on uktv food's market kitchen.
i was contacted by a researcher from the programme a few months ago and two recipes were filmed while being made. in case you're a viewer and need help tracking them down, or are just curious to see what piqued their interest, here they are:
- gluten-free, dairy-free and nut-free lemon and raspberry roll
- my fabulous (she says modestly!) vegetarian shepherd’s pie with goats’ cheese mash and cheesy leeks
if you try either of these, let me know how you get on.
