cherry blossom

and to stick with the japanese theme, how about a cherry blossom cocktail?

shake, with ice, ¾ a shot of cherry brandy, ¾ of a shot of kirsch (i used homemade), ½ a shot of cointreau, 1 ¼ shots of lemon juice, ½ a shot of sugar syrup, ¼ of a shot of grenadine syrup. strain into a martini glass. garnish with a lime wedge (i like to squeeze this in to counteract some of the drink’s sweetness).
