hazelnut and cherry brownies

i can’t remember which brownie recipe i used for this but the most interesting thing, which can be applied to any brownie recipe, was adding a large slug of cherry brandy into the mix (plus a little extra flour so the mixture wasn’t too wet) which added a lovely fruity undertone to the brownies. i’ve done something similar with baileys but preferred the flavour that my welsh cherry liqueur gave.
