sparkling rose

we spent a few days in the loire last month and came home with several bottles. cassis and violet syrup (for my beloved violet valentines) were both on the shopping list but rose liquer was not. i couldn't resist though and have been enjoying it with cava or drizzled over vanilla ice-cream. summer is not yet here but this helps remind me it is on its way.
